| Note | BETA manid 5129 lists the contents of ms. 341 of the M. Pelayo library in Santander as the Fueros de Ayala and the Crónica
de Don Juan Manuel (BETA cnum 11064). This has been listed in BETA as being the Crónica abreviada (thus, BETA texid 1626,
has 2 entries, one from the BNE and this manuscript from Santander). I was curious, as Artigas’ catalogue says Cronicón, so I managed to get a copy of the fol. 1r of the manuscript. After checking it, as you see in the image bellow, I can confirm it is not the Crónica abreviada, but rather fragments of the Cronicón latino, published by Florez in España sagrada, an copied by Floranez from there (hence, it should either be corrected, or just removed from BETA, as it is a Latin text, and a copy of a printed text). |
