Thomas Frognall Dibdin … London, Printed for the author by W. Nicol, Shakspeare press, 1823. The entire Spencer collection (about 40,000 volumes) was purchased by Mrs. Rylands in 1892, and now forms part of the John Rylands library, Manchester. A catalog, by Gordon-Duff, was issued in 1899 (3 v. 30 cm.) Block books, v. 1, p. 1-lii; Bibles, v. 1, p. 1-132 (nos. 7-52); Caxtons, v. 4, p. 171-350 (nos. 836-883); Wynkyn de Worde, v. 4, p. 395-416 (nos. 900-912)” |
